Doktor Falsafah, disingkatkan PhD adalah ijazah yang tertinggi yang diberikan kepada seseorang siswazah lanjutan yang menamatkan pengajiannya dan disertasinya diluluskan oleh majlis yang terdiri daripada para profesor. Gelaran doktor ini diberikan kepada orang yang telah mendapat ijazah tertinggi dalam sesuatu pengajian.
